We are based in sunny South Florida and we’re always happy to travel. We’re available throughout the states and internationally. If we can get to your wedding by airplane or car, consider us available. If hiking or small water crafts are involved, please inquire further.
Where are you located, and are you available outside your area?
We have all liability insurance requirements and we’re covered nationally and internationally.
My venue requires for vendors to be insured, do you have insurance?
Choose with your heart! First, make sure you connect with their photographs and their style, then make sure to meet them face to face or even Facetime. It may sound cliche, but your wedding day can be one of the most emotional events in a couple’s life other than having a baby. Your photographer will be with you every step of the way, so you want someone who makes you feel at ease and that you’re actually happy to see there. We advise our future clients to hire someone they would invite to their wedding. There are a lot of talented photographers out there so make sure you have a connection with yours.
What’s the best way to choose your photographer?
Yes, we offer engagement sessions for $450. However, we include a complimentary engagement session with all of our booked wedding packages. We call our engagement sessions “Love Sessions” and we focus on the things that are meaningful to our couples. Whether it’s at a park or the place you met, we treat it like a double date, except that we’re working while you play. Love Sessions give us a chance to break the ice, get to know each other and get you comfortable in front of the lens. We help you chose locations, outfits and give you tips to make it as easy and stress-free as possible.
Do you offer engagement sessions?
Since our engagement sessions in our packages are complementary. They do not hold monetary value.
We don’t need an engagement session with our package, can we substitute?
Yes, you can always upgrade your package at any time. We get booked pretty early, so we recommend booking your favorite photographer 10-18 months in advance.
Can I choose a package now to lock in the date and change it later?
Absolutely, we offer a full A La Carte menu where you can choose to add or customize your collection.
Can we add more hours to a package?
Tracey-Ann is our lead and full-time photographer on wedding day. Martin is an assistant photographer, which means he will be assisting most of the time and helping your wedding day go smoothly. Martin will photograph certain parts of the day where we prefer to have a second angle, for example, the ceremony, your partner’s prep if in the same location, first dance, cake cutting, etc. If you require a full time second photographer, we have several options. Also note that some of our packages include a full-time second photographer.
How many photographers will be at my wedding?
An “unplugged wedding” means there are no devices (iPhones, iPads or cameras) being used during your wedding ceremony except for the hired professionals. This allows your guests to be present in the moment with you while you exchange your vows.
Unplugged weddings. What is it? Why should I consider having one?
For a 7-9 hour wedding day, we deliver between 400-700 hand-edited images. We also give a little extra love to the images featured on the blog and slideshow. We retouch all the images that go into your wedding or engagement album. Depending on our workload and wedding season, our typical delivery is within 3-6 weeks.
I can’t wait to see my photos, how many photos will we get and how long would it take?
You can secure your date with a 50% retainer and a signed agreement. The balance is due 14 days prior to wedding day.
How do I book you for my wedding?
Absolutely! We believe that as photographers our job would not be complete unless you have a tangible record of your wedding day. Our albums are designed with some of your favorite photographs and handmade by a local family owned company. We work closely with our album crafters to provide the highest quality of materials and a lifetime guarantee.
Do you offer albums, and should we get one?
Yup, we provide all of our couples with image files via digital download. However because of the fast pace of technology and digital storage systems (remember the CD of images) the best way to keep your memories is in an album built to last for generations to come.
Will I get my digital files?
Only for your family portraits. When you choose your photographer, you should feel 100% confident that they share your vision for your unique wedding day. We’ve been doing weddings for over 13 years and we find that when given a shot list, 80% of the list are things that we already focus on, and the rest are things that are unpredictable or unrealistic. Best thing to do is have fun, be yourselves and let us take care of recording your memories.
Do you need a shot list?
That depends on your number of groups. On average it takes 2-4 minutes to get family members together for a photo. For example: 5 group shots can take 10-20 minutes.
How long do family portraits typically take?
Yes! Your engagement session is a great time to do a trial run for your wedding makeup.
Do you recommend professional makeup for my engagement session?
We think “first looks” are awesome! It’s like an unveiling of how amazing you both look but in a more private setting, than in front of all your wedding guests. With the added bonus of you both having that first intimate moment together, we have the chance to make great photographs and also take care of your formal family portraits list before the ceremony. It helps greatly with the fluidity of your wedding day timeline, so you are free to enjoy your cocktail hour with your family and friends or even sneak away for some extra special photos if your venue is special.
